I would like to start a group in Central Texas. I am in Austin. There are just so many places to investigate here in this historical state.

Audrey, y'all can come visit us any time you want, darlin'. I'll keep the beer cold for ya.

OK since I am a native Texan, I can poke some fun.

I have never seen another state that feels the need to paint the side of a barn with the state flag. Do they really need to tell everyone that their barn is in Texas? Damned dummies, bless their little hearts.

The state where duely trucks are more beautiful when they become a stretch limo. Octamom needs one. She could fit all of her kids and groceries without a problem. She is tore up from the floor up, bless her little heart.

The state where pressed, creased jeans are considered formal wear. Just polish the boots and throw on a blazer and you are good to go to a prom, a fancy restaurant, or get married. Some country Texans think that Dairy Queen is a fancy restaurant, bless their little hearts.

And one of my favorites. The state where you can totally talk smack on someone as long as you follow it up with, "bless his/ her little heart".

I love Texas.

By the way, the big gun you see in my avatar, is really a picture I took of Texas yard art. No kidding! It is huge and is on top of a 30' pole in the front yard of a dilapidated house in San Marcos, TX. I had to stop and take a picture 'cause that  was,  and still is so funny and soooo Texas. lol
